316 Stainless Steel Plate (ASTM A240 / SUS316 / 06Cr17Ni12Mo2) is a premium molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel sheet, widely recognized as the top choice for projects requiring exceptional resistance to chloride corrosion, acidic environments, and sustained high-temperature operation. Compared to standard 304 stainless steel, the 2.0–3.0% molybdenum content in 316 grade dramatically improves its anti-pitting, anti-crevice corrosion performance, making it far more reliable for harsh working conditions.
Our full stock range covers thin plates (0.1mm–3mm), medium plates (3mm–25mm), thick plates (25mm–100mm) and extra-thick plates over 100mm, with surface options including 2B, BA, 8K mirror, HL hairline, No.1 hot-rolled finish. Every batch is sourced from top domestic and international steel mills, with 100% material test report (MTR) provided before delivery.

Unmatched Performance Advantages
-
Superior Chloride & Acid Corrosion Resistance
The added molybdenum element stabilizes the material’s passive film, delivering outstanding tolerance to seawater, salt spray, acetic acid, phosphoric acid, sulfate and alkaline solutions. It effectively avoids pitting corrosion even in coastal splash zones and high-salinity working environments. -
Excellent High-Temperature Stability
316 stainless steel plate can continuously work at 1200–1300°C without structural deformation, maintaining stable mechanical strength and creep resistance under long-term high-heat conditions. The 316H variant further optimizes high-temperature performance for furnace and heat exchanger applications. -
Anti-Intergranular Corrosion Design
Our 316Ti grade adds titanium element to preferentially combine with carbon, preventing chromium carbide precipitation at grain boundaries during 450–850°
